What is Pawnd?
Pawnd is a public board for missing and found animals. Anyone can read it, without an account, and a small group of registered people keep it up to date.
It was built during a wildfire, to work with the organisations doing the rescue, and the shape of it follows from that. Someone who has just found a dog by the side of a road is on a phone, in a hurry, and has never seen this site before. So the board is one page, it loads fast, and everything that matters is visible without clicking.
Pawnd is separate software from the colony application, not a module of it. The audiences do not overlap: a rescue organisation during an emergency is not a colony association doing trap, neuter and return work.

Concepts

| Entry | One animal on the board, with its photos, name, kind and contact phone. |
| Found | The state an entry moves to once the animal turns up. It stays on the board, marked, at the bottom. |
| Member | Somebody who can create and edit entries. |
| Admin | A member who can also manage the other users and download a backup. |
An entry records who created it and the date it was added. Once the animal is found, it also records the date that happened.
